يختص بالمشاركة في رصد بيانات الإنتاج البحثي وتحليلها ودارسة أثرها وتطوير الخطط التنفيذية المتعلقة بالبحث والابتكار ضمن إطار استراتيجية جامعة الملك خالد ٢٠٣٠م.
يعنى بإدارة المهام المتعلقة بالكراسي البحثية واستحداثها وإدارة ملفات حوكمتها إجرائياً وتشغيلياً.
إدارة وتحفيز الشراكات البحثية الوطنية والدولية ومتابعة الأداء البحثي المبني على التعاونات البحثية، وتفعيل تنوعها ومستوى أثرها.
بناء البرامج والمبادرات البحثية المتعلقة بدعم البحث العلمي، وتحفيز مستوى الإنتاج العلمي للجامعة كماً وكيفاً، بناءً على مستهدفات الجامعة الاستراتيجية للبحث والتطوير والابتكار.
دعم طلبة الدراسات العليا في مجال البحث والابتكار وقياس مستوى الأثر لأعمالهم البحثية، ووضع الآليات والإجراءات المتعلقة بتحفيز إنتاجهم البحثي ورفع فرص التنافسية للطلبة في مجالات البحث والابتكار.
إدارة ملف المعامل المركزية وحوكمة إجراءاته المتعلقة بالتشغيل وتفعيل التقنيات البحثية المتطورة وبناء الشراكات البحثية المبنية على تعزيز الاستفادة من الخدمات البحثية التقنية وصناعة الفرص البحثية والتدريبية لأعضاء هيئة التدريس وطلبة الدراسات العليا في الجامعة.
Vice Deanship for Research and Innovation
It is concerned with participating in monitoring, analyzing, studying research production data, studying its impact, and developing operational plans related to research and innovation within the framework of King Khalid University's strategy 2030.
It is concerned with managing the tasks related to research chairs, overseeing their development, and managing their procedural and operational governance files.
- Managing and stimulating national and international research partnerships, following up research performance based on research collaborations, and activating their diversity and level of impact.
- Building research programs and initiatives related to supporting scientific research and stimulating the level of scientific production of the university in quantity and quality, based on the university's strategic objectives for research, development, and innovation.
- Enhancing graduate students' chances for success in research and innovation; assessing the impact of students' research; creating mechanisms and procedures to encourage research output; and bolstering students' competitive opportunities in research and innovation.
Managing the central laboratories file, governing its procedures related to the operation, activating advanced research technologies, and building research partnerships based on enhancing the use of technical research services and creating research and training opportunities for faculty members and graduate students at the university.
